We will obtain records prior to departure from your primary care doctor and any other specialists you see regularly. This will ensure that you receive the highest quality of care while you are away from your primary medical team. We will also ensure any additional medications, supplies and equipment are onboard to take care of your unique needs.

Trauma & Emergent Care

• Receive immediate assessment and management in life-threatening traumatic and emergent situations.  Our providers are skilled in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), in addition to holding national certification and licensing, and extensive experience in managing patients during their most distressing moments. Our team will work closely with the captain to ensure your safe transfer to the nearest hospital, and we will also accompany you to advocate for your well-being and the quality of care provided during your hospitalization.

 

Intubation & Sedation

• If the unimaginable happens, such as a drowning, heart attack, stroke, severe head injury, or other true emergency, we have the experience, skills, supplies and medications for critical airway management and sedation until we are able to safely transfer you to a higher level of care at the nearest hospital.
